Shelly’s path to a voiceover career began early in her life. Always an avid talker and storyteller, Shelly has been telling stories to anyone that would listen since childhood! In her teens, Shelly starred in numerous community theatre plays, musicals and student films. As a young adult, she studied Acting and Dance at York University, Canada, and thereafter enjoyed many years of success honing her skills in the performing arts. ​
Through volunteer experiences helping young children, Shelly discovered that her talent at storytelling could also be used to reach and educate struggling kids. Shelly went on to receive a Master of Arts Degree in Education, with a specialization in drama. Shelly continued to draw on her talent at character creation and storytelling on a daily basis, in her support of students, their families and staff, while teaching and serving as a vice-principal.
